We have high expectations for our interpreters! Training Practicum and Internship students to be able to meet and exceed them is crucial.

 

Accepting a Practicum / Internship position with B3, you gain access to a team of highly qualified and certified interpreters who know how to communicate professionally and accurately, while also training you to do the same.

 

Upon application, interns will go through a formal interview process, along with a skills assessment and ethical scenario discussion.

 

Practicum / Interns receive hours toward their ITP by:

• Completing Weekly Mentoring Sessions

  • Skill Development

  • Certification Prep

  • Self-Employment 101

• Observing Certified Interpreters in a Variety of Settings

• Receiving Hands-Up Time with Support and Feedback from Interpreter Mentors
